Ginger - Garlic Chutney (Mother-in- law recipe)

For this chutney you need
1 big sized ginger
10 - 12 nos. of garlic
5 - 6 red chillies
Lemon sized tamarind
1 tsp. of Mustard and urad dhal
Small piece of Jaggery
Salt to taste
2 - 3 tsp. of Oil
Preparation
Clean the ginger. Peel off the skin and chop them into small pieces.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the ginger ,garlic and red chillies well.
In a blender, along with the ginger, garlic,red chillies add tamarind , jaggery, and salt . Grind them well.
Heat oil in a pan. Add the mustard and urad dhal . When they stop spluttering , add the grinded paste.
Saute them well, until the oil comes at the top.
Serve this chutney with Idli's or Dosa's................
