Crispy Okra's

These are crispy fries that goes very well with any dal rice.

For these fries you need

20- 25 nos. of Okra
1 tbsp. of besan flour
1 tsp. of rice flour
1/2 tsp. of cumin powder
A pinch of asafoetida
1 tsp. of yoghurt
1/2 tsp. of chilli powder
A sprig of curry leaves.
Salt
Oil for frying
Preparation

Wash and chop the Okra's.

In a bowl , mix all the ingredients with the chopped Okra's .

Heat oil in a pan, using your hands take a small portion from the batter and  drop them in oil.

Deep fry them until they turn golden brown. Drain them in kitchen towel to remove the excess oil.

Crispy Okra's are ready to serve...



Serve it hot with any dal rice........

    I also make it in almost the same manner but adding yogurt is new to me.
    I love this crispy fry with planin dal chawal. Looks so yummy

    My mother makes them this way.She also adds peanuts to this dish.
