Coriander Chapathi with an award

Coriander Chapathi

A slight variation from my usual chapathi...

For this chapathi you need

2 cups of wheat flour
1 bunch of fresh coriander leaves
3 - 4 green chillies (Acc. to ur taste)
Salt to taste
1 tsp. of ghee
Oil as needed
Preparation

Wash and clean the coriander leaves.

In the blender, Grind the coriander leaves, with chilli and salt. Add sufficient water and grind it well.

Now in a bowl, mix the flour with the grinded coriander. Add sufficient water to it

Finally add the ghee and knead it well , until it forms into a soft dough.

Cover and keep it aside for 30 mins.

Take a lemon sized ball form the dough , dust it in flour and roll them into a flat and round shaped one.

Heat the tawa, place the rolled chapathi and apply  oil/ ghee on its sides.

When both sides are cooked well, remove from the tawa...

Serve it hot with any raita's ................

I had it with Besan cauliflower in yoghurt gravy as side dish.

I recieved this award from my friends Nivedita and  Simply.food

Thanks a lot dears for sharing this award with me..........

  1. This is surely a flavourful chapati. Will taste nice with or without pickle or simply with curd.
