Pudina/Mint Parota
For this parota you need
2 cups of wheat flour
1/2 cup of finely chopped mint leaves
Salt
Ghee / Oil as needed
Preparation2 cups of wheat flour
1/2 cup of finely chopped mint leaves
Salt
Ghee / Oil as needed
In a bowl, add the wheat flour along with salt, mix it well by adding sufficient water to it.
Finally add 3 tsp. of ghee and knead it well , until it forms a soft dough.
Cover and keep it aside for 30 mins.
Take a lemon sized ball from the dough , dust it in flour and roll them into a flat , thin and round shaped one.
Apply oil/ghee on to it and start folding like saree pleats, finally make a spiral shape out of it.
Now add the chopped pudina leaves on the top and press it well and roll them again(don't roll them thinly, let it be thicker in its size).
Heat the tawa, place the rolled chapathi and apply oil/ ghee on its sides.
When both sides are cooked well, remove from the tawa...
Flavorful mint parota is ready to be served.......
Serve it hot with Vegetable Kurma or with Tomato Thokku and enjoy:)
